If you wish to make an entry by post, please send

1. a copy of your submission 
2. details of your name, address and telephone contact and/or email address on a separate sheet of paper.  
3. a UK cheque or postal order payable to the City of Derby Short Story and Poetry Competition.  If entering one work, the fee is £4.  If entering more than one item, the fee for subsequent submissions is £3. The postal address for entries is:-

If on the other hand you would like to submit your entry online, please click on the PayPal link below.  This will enable you to make secure payment online using any major credit card via the PayPal facility.  If you are paying in a currency other than pounds sterling, Paypal will adjust this accordingly using the current accepted rate of exchange.

When you have done this, please paste your entry to us as an email or as an attachment in Word, using the 'submit' link at the left (if you use Outlook Express).  If your computer does not use Outlook Express, please send your entry in an email to info@cityofderbywritingcompetition.org.uk.  Please remember to indicate as a separate page at the end of the submission

For overseas entrants who are unable to pay by cheque or online it is acceptable to send cash by post with your entry, but only in US dollars ($5 per entry) or Euros (€5 per entry) - no coins, please.  If paying by cash we would recommend that you send details of an email address to which we can confirm that your submission has been received.
